Its a Lovely Long Weekend

I really can't belive we are now enjoying the last bank holiday weekend of the year before Christmas, this year is really flying past! Its been an extra long weekend for me as I took Friday off work as annual leave and as a treat Tom and I took Scarlett to the Wildwood wildlife park in Herne, Kent. The weather was better than we had originally expected but it was still damp and a little chilly so we didnt get to see all the animals but we did meet up with Clare and Stan which was a real treat for Scarlett as she has been asking for ages to have a play date with Stan. Wildwood is a really nice little place, the staff were very friendly and helpful and when the weather is nicer we will make a return visit. The pictures I took are on Facebook if you want to have a look.

So what else is new? Well Tom and I are now both proud owners of iphones and we LOVE them! We have been busy adding music, photos and apps - Tom is enjoying being able to watch football on his and I just love being able to get on the internet no matter where I am. A big thumbs up from both of us for the Apple iphone4!!

I have joined a team on UKS, they are called the Tag-a-Long's and are a really lovely and friendly bunch of ladies. I really want to try and do a bit more with my scrapping so joining a team is a perfect way to do this as I can take part in the weekly challenges etc. Below are a few layouts I have completed this week...

Vegas Princess was done using a page kit I bought on our fist visit to Vegas back in
2008. I did my own thing with the pack as the original layout was based around pictures of a little girl. All the papers and embellishments are My Minds Eye Dreamy 2, all I added extra were a couple of brads and some Papermania letters for the word Vegas.

The next layout which I called My Star is of some pictures of Tom taken in Vegas. I cant remember what the paper is but I know I bought it in Vegas. The blue glass pearls were bought in Imagine That and the star shaped brads were taken from my stash, the title is American Crafts Thickers.

The last layout I have to show you is off a picture of me and Tom flying home from Las Vegas. We flew Premium Economy for the first time and it was fantastic, something we hope to be able to do again one day! The papers are all Little Yellow Bicycle and were in a kit I bought from Jackie DaSilva. I popped the menu card and luggage tag from the flight behind the photo.

Thanks for looking and hopefully by the next time I post Blogger will be working properly, its been really slow today and has taken me ages to post!
