Evening all....what a rotten day its been here weather wise. Its been freezing cold all day long and then just as I left work the heavens opened and it poured down. Luckily the bus came straight away so I didn't get wet and by the time I got home it had stopped which is good as Daisy just hates going out when its wet.
I have had a good couple of weeks, am loving doing Project Life again this year and so far so good with doing it on a weekly basis. In fact I have to say I think it easier than doing it monthly as I am recording things straight away rather than having to try and remember it all (having a notebook to write things in is also helping!!). The craft room has had a real good clean and I have had yet another stash clear out, just my papers to do now..... and that will be the hardest task of all as paper is my absolute addiction, although at the moment anything Project Life is pretty high on my list of most desirable items!!. Below is a picture of my Week 4 page, as usual I am using a mix of cards from my Project Life kits along with some random bits of stash.
I attended my first Kingshill crop of 2014 on Saturday and for the first time ever we did a marathon 12 hour crop. My friend Jules came to stay Friday night so we could travel down to West Malling together Saturday morning. As usual we had a Costa coffee to get us going and then we hit the Spitfire pub so we could get on with the wonderful task of spending a whole day scrapping. It was a lovely day and both Jules and I managed quite a few layouts...I actually did more than I thought I would, quite surprising given the amount of chatting we did, still that along with lots of laughter, chocolate and cake is what make a great crop. Below are pictures of some of my layouts;
The picture in this one is of me and Tom on one of the viewing galleries at the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. The papers are Echo Park, the title is American Crafts Dear Lizzy and the bling swirl is by Kaiserkraft, the buttons and ribbon are from my stash.
For this layout I chose another pic of me and Tom, this time in Portugal last Summer. The papers are all from one of my old Studio Calico kitS, the bling swirl is Prima and again the ribbons and buttons are from my stash..
The last layout I have to share with you is again from our Vegas holiday last year and this time its of Tom. It was taken the day he had a stonking hangover, hence the title. All the elements of this one are from Studio Calico..
Hope you are all well, thanks as always for stopping by my blog. If you like what you see please leave me a comment with a link back to your blog if you have one and I will come and visit you and do the same.
Love and hugs, Jane xx
