Busy, Busy, Busy!

Evening all...

Just realized its well over a month since my last blog post! However during that time I have been a busy, busy bee, thought I would share with you some of what's been happening.

First off I finally gave in and joined Stampin Up as an Independant Demonstrator. I signed up via my lovely friend Sarah who's blog you can see here, Sarah's upline is Amanda and you can here fab blog here. Both ladies create some wonderful cards and I am sure as I start my new venture they will both prove to be a source of inspiration to me. I am really looking forward to increasing my Stampin Up stash as well as playing with all the wonderful products to see what I can produce.

We had our Summer holiday back in July, as usual we went to join our friends Michele and Ray in Portugal. This year we were there for 12 fabulous, fun and sun filled days. We stayed at the same villa as last year and once again I could have stood on the terrace and looked at the view for hours!! The only downside is it just went far too fast and before long we were packing the suitcases to come home. Still at least I have the pictures to look back on....here are just a few for you.

A week after we got back I spent a weekend with my friend Theresa at the Sizzling Summer crop which was hosted by the lovely, lovely Carole Bryson. I had never met Carole before the crop, we had just become friends via UKS and Facebook so it was nice to finally be able to speak with her in real life and get to know her a little more. Carole is also a Stampin Up demonstrator (see blog here)and she bought loads and loads of products with her to the crop. I managed to complete a fair few layouts as well as a mini book, plus I also completed a few of the many challenges that had been
set as part of the crop. It was a fantastic couple of days, where I got to catch up with old friends, make some new ones and generally have a blast playing with paper and chatting!! Here are a few of the layouts I did.....

I have changed sites again at work, I am now back to working at Broadgate in the City of London. Its not that big a change for me as I have worked there before, the portfolio is a lot bigger now and I have a lot of work to do but I like to be busy and getting the sites to work as they should is going to be something that will keep me VERY busy over the coming months!!

Hope your all well out there in blogland....cant believe that the Summer is coming to a close and that the nights are now starting to draw in. At least this coming weekend is a Bank Holiday, luckilly for us its a pretty laid back one so I am hoping to get some time in my craft room to play with all those lovely SU goodies!!

As always thanks for stopping by, feel free to leave a comment as I love to hear what you think!

Love and hugs, Jane

What gorgeous layouts, you were busy (don't forget to put the points down on the thread lol). Good luck with being a SU demonstrator, you should check out a blog too by Fi, called staring at the sea (blogspot). She makes some lovely cards too.

You'll be fabulous x
