Scrapping Saturday

Afternoon, I hope all is well with you and that you are having a lovely weekend.

Its a nice quiet and relaxed day here (just the way I like it). So far its been a lovely day full of cooking, baking and creativity. I have made WW Chicken Tikka for dinner tonight as well as a batch of Lemon and White Chocolate cupcakes. Hubby has gone to the pub so I have been able to indulge in my love of country music while I am home alone.

I have four layouts to share with you today....the first one is of my niece Scarlett giving Daisy a bath. We were at my Mums house and as is usual when we go there Daisy heads straight for the garden, however on this visit she managed to find a pile of fox's mess and immediately rolled in it!! Why oh why do dogs do that?? Luckily for me Scarlett offered to bath the stinky mutt which meant I had a great photo opportunity. For the layout I used papers and embellishments from the Simple Stories So Fancy collection pack. All I added additionally were a few strips of washi tape.

The second and third layouts are Christmas themed and the papers I have used are from the Bo Bunny Candy Cane Lane collection. The picture in the one below is of my sister and her family, they were lucky enough to spend Christmas 2014 in Australia and the pic shows them on Christmas Day in Port Macqurie. I added a couple of Basic Grey embellishments to this page as the colours matched perfectly.

The page below features a picture of my hubby, brother in law and nephew last Christmas. As is usual trying to get a decent picture of them all always results in a stupid one too - the joys of Christmas!! lol.

Layout number four is for Georges album and the pictures of of him and Lucy when they went to the Tower Hotel for dinner last year to celebrate Lucy's birthday. I loved the way the black and white pictures worked with the papers which I think are MME Chalkboard but I cant be sure. I added a Prima flower and a pearl swirl to finish this page off.

Thanks for stopping by, love and hugs. Jane xx

Great LOs.
The last one looks very effective in B&W with just that splash of colour.
