Hello and welcome back to another post, can you believe that we are almost halfway though March already?? So glad that the weather has improved a little and that the bitter cold and snow is now just a dim and distant memory. As much as I hated the snow a certain little furbaby loved it which really surprised me. She absolutely loved running about in it despite having icy bits stuck in her fur!
So apart from the weather at the beginning of the month March has been a pretty nice so far. We spent the first weekend at home hiding from the cold and snow, although to be fair it didn't hang around for too long and it was gone as fast as it arrived. We actually managed to get out for a little walk on the Sunday, it was so nice to get some fresh air and stretch our legs a little bit. We had planned to stop somewhere in Bermondsey Street for a coffee but everywhere was packed so we saved our pennies and had coffee at home. I also spent some time in my craft room, I did one layout for the Vegas album, made my Mothers Day card and made a exploding box which I just need to add pics to.
Last week saw me head back to Weight Watchers after not going for weight for a couple of weeks. Despite not really being on track I was happy to find that I had lost half a pound. Not a huge amount but another small step back in the right direction.
On Friday of last week I had a days leave from work which was very nice. My friend Sarah came up to stay as we had tickets for the C2C music festival at the O2. We saw a few different acts but top of the bill and the ones we were actually there to see were Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. I was so excited when the line up was announced last year as I have wanted to see them for such a long time - they are the King and Queen of Country music. It was a really good night but our enjoyment was somewhat marred by the dreadful overpowering sound of the bass which at times completely drowned out the artists. The lighting was pretty shocking too, far too bright and shining right into the crowd in the upper tier which meant we were almost blinded by the lights when they were flashing and rotating around. The O2 really need to get these issues sorted out as a lot of people left before the end of the show, Twitter and FB were going mad with people complaining about both issues.
Sarah and I had a lovely leisurely Saturday morning just chilling out and talking about all things Disney. We went to the BStreet Deli for brunch which, as always was very nice indeed. I could quite happily live on their selection of cooked meats, cheeses and olives. Unfortunately Sarah's visit was just for one night this time as she needed to be at home for Sunday. We need to get the next date sorted and in the diary so we can have a proper catch up.
On Sunday Tom and I went over to my Mums as it was Mothers Day. We had a lovely afternoon and Mum cooked us all a fab roast dinner which was delicious. By the time we got home it was almost 9pm so we both just collapsed on the sofa to watch an hour or so of vlogs before heading to bed.
I hope that you are all well and have been having a good month?
As always thanks for stopping by to read, love and hugs - Jane xx
