Blogmas 2017 Day Two - Deck the Halls with Disney

Saturday 2nd December 2017

As Tom worked a night shift last night I thought I would use the time he was sleeping this morning to put the tree up and get it decorated. To be honest it was the best thing really as doing the tree and putting all our Christmas bits out is MY job, it always has been and it always will be. The only thing he normally does is the putting together of the tree and the lights as apparently that's a mans job?! Anyway I managed it all myself this year which is just as well as I was so excited to be using all my new Disney baubles for the first time. I picked up some here in the Disney store but I bought these ones in Disneyland park in California. The park shop was actually quite small but there were so many decorations to choose from, in the end though I only got three which was quite restrained of me considering I stood there with my jaw on the floor when I first walked in. I am pretty sure that wont be the case next year when we are in Florida as I am planning on bringing home a ton of decorations for the tree and the flat.
In the end it took me a couple of hours to get the tree exactly as I wanted it and I think over the coming days there will be a few tweaks here and there but on the whole I am very happy with how it looks. I cant wait to put all the presents are underneath it now. I also put out all our ornaments, candles, cushions and other bits and bobs, I do love how warm and cozy the flat looks when everything is done, it takes a while and a fair bit of effort but it so worth it.
I opened box number two of my advent calendar and todays gift was a Meso Mask from Laboratories Filorga which is a brand I have never heard of before. It’s a smoothing radiance mask for the face that is supposed to treat wrinkles and erase the signs of tiredness while making the skin look more radiant, healthy and fresh. This could be a good one to try after Christmas when my skin will be one of the first places to show the signs of too much food, alcohol and not enough sleep. I do love a good face mask or treatment so I am really looking forward to trying it out. What are your tried and trusted products to help keep your skin looking healthy and glowing?

I hope that you are all having a good weekend so far?

Love and festive hugs, Jane xx
